I do not think, that there is any connection. Horb is about 100 miles south-east of Eichtersheim and by the way Horb is not in Baden but in neighboring Wuertemberg. I checked the data base for any village called Horb in Baden but I only found Horben and Horbach. Anyhow, If you know the maiden name of Franz Joseph Hecker’s mother, please let me know.
