While walking in a local cemetery today I came across a gravestone with the name John Hecker, born in Baden, Germany. It caught my attention because I knew a Norman Hecker in high school and hadn't heard the name since. If anyone is interested I can get more information and post it here. He died in the 1800's and his wife's name was Alice. They had a son, Willie, who died at age 17.
