I think I may be related, but I'm a bit confused. My grandfather Was Ernest Edward Hecker (my mom says he always went my Edward (it's even listed that way in the the S.S. death index), but it was really his middle name) and my grandmother was Edith Jackson. They lived in Miranda, CA. They had 16 children, but I don't have Alice down as one of them. The first child listed was born in 1920 in Illinois. In fact, Edward would have been a child himself when Alice was born, so this doesn't seem possible. My father is John Hecker. What do you think?
