Hello there Hinesman and Heckel Researchers,
I often have trouble using this thing and do not know if I am giving you what you want. I am a Heckel descendant. Ursula and My grandfather about six generations before me were brother and sister. Our Heckel family arrived in this country in 1752 and we are known as Salzburger descdants. Religious exiles from Salzburg. "The Salzburger Saga" by George Fenwick Jones will tell you more about it. However our records are not complete because of the destruction by British forces in the Revolution. The Lutheran Church that was completed in 1769 is still standing and still active. I have nothing on Israel Hindsman.
Sincerely, Frank H. Moring
a Heckel descendant. Have a good day
