Hi Cindy,
I am researching the Fridley line, probably of Dauphin County. In 1813,a John Heckart, farmer of Elmira, died and left his estate to his siblings. They were Molly(Heckart)Michael,Peter,Caspar,Betsy Buyers,Anna Maria Thurber,Frederick,Susan Federhoff, and Caty Fridley.
Can you confirm independently that these are the children of Phillip Heckart? I have seen an incomplete list of his children on FamilySearch.org or Ancestry.
I believe Caty (Hechart) Fridley was married to John Fridley who appeared in the 1810 census in Elmira I do not know anything more about this John Fridley.Catherine Fridley was born in PA about 1780. In subsequent census decades after the 1810 census, Catherine Fridley is listed as head of household in Painted Post, Steuben County, until she moved to Minnesota in about 1854.Fredeick Heckart also lived there.
Regards,Chuck
