Hello all. This is a crazy request with little or no information but I am hoping somebody out there knows something that could fill in a lot of blank areas in my life. My fathers name is Stephen Lloyd Myers he is the son of Charlene Hogan and Lloyd Hebert. My father never got the chance to know his biological father, Mr. Hebert. His mother had a falling out with him or something of that nature around the time of his birth. He was born in Oklahoma and his mother married a man by the name of Charles Myers and he raised my father as his own. My father is in bad health and my stepgrandfather (Charles) died when I was only seven years old. My grandmother tells the story that Mr. Hebert showed up after my father was born and she was married wanting to get the chance to know his son, but through no fault of mine or my fathers he was denied that chance and sent on his way. All the information I have on my biological grandfather is his name Lloyd Hebert, he was in the military around 1951 when he fathered my father and he was from Louisiana. My father has searched for him before but came up empty handed. I have two daughters that really want to know where there family came from. Like I said before my fathers health is fading and he has a terminal condition. If anybody could help me give my father and me and my children some information I would greatly appreciate. I intend no harm to anybodys family and I would never want to intrude on his privacy, but I would like to find out where we come from and who. If anybody could help me I would be forever indebted.
