I am looking for my g-g-grandmother, Mary Eugenia Caubarreux. She came to America at age 3 with her father, Van Con Caubarreux. She spoke only French and was a midwife. I know she married Andrew St. Germaine (my g-g-grandfather) and later married a Jonca and in 1889 a Hebert. She was Catholic.
She had at least one daughter with Andrew and her name was Mary Eulalie, b. 9 Feb 1858 in Cloutierville, LA and d. 11 Jan 1903. I have heard tha when Mary Eulalie married Lewis Walters, a Protestant, Mary Eulalie was disinherited.
Any information on any of these would be greatly appreciated. This is my brick wall. I would welcome any information on siblings, half siblings, aunts and uncles, neighbors anything.
