Heavner family, Burke Co, NC, 1824-now

Just turned in an article on the Heavner family in Burke Co., NC, for a vol. 2 of Burke Heritage Book. The family descends from Jacob Havener and Christina Stamey. The first fact we have is their marriage bond, 1 Feb. 1824. Jacob seems to be a bit of a brick wall, as I have not found anyone who can trace him before that point. He's also gone by the 1850 census, leaving a wife and 8 children. Of those 8, I have so far only traced two. William (~1829-aft 1902)settled in one part of the county and Robert C. (1846-1909)on the family land in another. Robert is my gggrandfather and I have a considerable number of his family, thanks to lots of help. I'd like to trade info with others who might be researching the family, or related Stamey or Burns families.
