william paschal o'shields 1860 census in pickens. mr. o'shields was living in pickens s.c. with elizabeth heaton his wife and their children. sarah jane o'shields 1857 and died 1932. we have a joseph o'shields i don't have the dates when he was born. isaac o'shields was born in 1858 and died 1941. he was 83 years of age and is buried at mt. carmel baptist church cemetery' isaac was married to nancy r. godfrey. milas o'shields was born 1859 he was married to carrie l. hendricks. milas died in 1944 milas was 85 years of age. he is buried in pickens s.c. look at the name o'shields or o'sheal same name it was spelled o'sheal to start but was later changed. to o'shields but some still spell the name o'sheal but you can spell the name o'shields or o'sheal still the same. bruce o'shields and myself walked all over mt. carmel baptist church cemtery and he pointed out to me how that the name o'sheal was spelled even brothers where one spelled their name o'sheal another o'shields. bruce said to me see that i said yes i do. bruce was a wonderful person. i was in the home of bruce o'shields every other week while that he was sick. i enjoyed talking to bruce o'shields. but getting back to william paschal o'shields and elizabeth heaton she is buried in n.c. and he is buried in spartanburg s.c.
