i don't have much to say only that i also have the picture of william paschal O'Shields and elizabeth heaton O'Shields. and this is my great aunt and my great uncle. and she was born in N.C. and Not S.C. and she was a full blooded cherokee indian. i have put down the list of their children that they had in pickens S.C. frist of all i have never said who her mother or her father is but i have said that elizabeth heaton was born in N.C. year 1825 and my great uncle william paschal O'Shields was born 1824. this is fact and in Sparyanburg S.C. I EVEN PUT DOWN HIS BROTHERS AND HIS SISTER AND THE DATES THEY WERE BORN. about a census taken 1860 was wrong 55years of age is not right he was 36 and she was 35 which is right. 1880 census having william paschal O'Shields dead at some 1880 census this is a missprint sometimes census takers get things wrong and boy did they ever get this wrong. i know for A fact that william paschal O'Shields died 1909 and lived to be 85 years. he was a brother to my great graddaddy wiley drayton O'Shields who was born 1832 .take a look at the list of children that i listed of elizabeth and william O'Shields in pickens S.C. The reason i posted in the first place i thought someone might have a picture of them when they were young.
