Can anyone help me with a double barrelled surname. The first part is definatley Heaton, however, the document I am looking at (my father's RAF record) is very faint and the second part of the name is difficult to deciper. I am pretty sure is starts with D but could be Durlsden, Durston, Duriden etc etc etc. The Heaton D?????? family lived in the Eccleshill area of Bradford (UK) in the mid 1940s. I am trying to research my father's family. His sister nee Elsie Hardaker became a Heaton D?????? following her marriage.
