Searching for info for Jack Painter m. Lilly Hensley.
Son of Jack and Lilly, Warren Franklin Painter SR. b.20 Aug 1921, Picacho,NM. d.5 Dec 2002, Marion ,Grant Co.,Indiana. Buried, 9 Dec 2002, Fairmount Park Cemetery. Warren was an Army veteran of WW II, serving as a French interpreter.
He entered the Army Sept 18 1942, in Fort Oglethorpe GA.
He received the Victory Medal and the European African Middle Eastern Service Medal with 3 bronze stars.
Discharged Nov 17 1945. Occupation, Inspector for Indiana State Board of Health. m. Living Heatherly and they have 3 living sons. Warren was married once before and lost his wife and a child in an auto accident.
