Ted, Thank you for the information. I will search each one of those Moores! My husband and I may be related after all!!! Now to your Nathan. I don't have anything on him except that he is a brother of Benjamin, Leonard, Hugh and perhaps Osias. I have him listed in Washington and Iron Counties of Mo. 1830. But I do have considerable amount of information about Benjamin. Fact is we visited the site of his homestead near St. Louis Mo. at New Haven, Mo. (near Washington Mo.) We walked to the cemetery he had deeded to the county of Franklin for a burying place of his daughter Rebecca and later several members of his family. The cemetery is located on a high point above the Missouri River. I have much information of his family(while I was trying to find a connection for George W.) that I will gladly share if you don't already have it. Could you tell me where the Heatherly and Maupin families went when they left the Franklin Co. area. Have you searched the possibility of Benjamin and his brothers being the GRANDSON of John Heatherly of Elk Ridge MD. who had two children murdered by a servant in 1751-a boy named John 12, a girl named Elizabeth age 14, and a boy named BENJAMIN AGE 10 who survived. We know that the Missouri Benjamin was born in Va. in 1769 and too young for the Benjamin of age 10 above. But John Heatherly of MD was married to a Elizabeth Ewingsin 1704---hence the name Ewings in the following generations and later Hugh was often taken from the name Ewings. ----Just a thought that you may already know about----Al and Bettie
