Dear Lyn,
Wonderful to hear from you. I can confirm that you belong to the Heather line, which I am researching.
Thomas, who married Sophia Walker, was born on the 20.6.1812. In turn his father, who was also named Thomas, was born 14.4.1786, bt. 4.4.1786 at St Mary Cray. He married a woman called MAry -surname unknown. Thomas(husband of Mary) died or was buried 19.9.1832.
The parents of the latter Thomas were Robert Heather (b.1787 d. 1837) and Charity Timmins (nee Williams.) Roberts brother, also named Thomas, was transported to Australia and arrived on the Second Fleet in 1790.
Returning to Thomas Heather - born 1786 the husband of Mary. He was the second youngest of five sons born to Robert and Charity. His siblings were:Robert, John, Stephen and Samuel. The latter Samuel was also transported to Australia in 1818.
I live in Australia and belong to what we call the Samuel Line. What country do you live in?
For now,
Best wishes,
Mildred.
