I have looked at my records.
James Heather tried 6-12-1841 was transported to Tasmania on the Earl Grey arrived 1843.
I think he married Mary Ann Cranston also a convict who arrived on the Elizabeth and Henry.
The Archives Office of Tasmania hold records including a photo of James, Mary Ann and their son James cir. 1880.
Fredrick Heather was a well known sea captain.
I am interested because of a photo likeness.
My early Heathers also came from Surrey?
