I am looking for information on the Heath/Heathcock families. My wife, Ida Sue Heath b. 1943, Detroit, Michigan, has the following ancestry:
Alor Clarence Heathcock (1839-1914) and Martha E. Harrell (1832- )
James Henry Heath (1866-1961) and Ida Jackson Moore (1869-1935)
Orie Carnell Heath (1914-1997) and Virgina Ann Hodges (1917-1989)
Ida Sue Heath (1943)
I am interested in any additional information on the individuals listed as well as any leads on Alor Clarence Heathcock’s ancestry. According to one posting I have seen, Alor Clarence Heathcock’s parents were Younger Heathcock and Sarah Meredith, but I have nothing further on this couple. Most of what I have found on the Heath/Heathcock family is from Stewart County, Tennessee and Trigg and Calloway counties, Kentucky.
