Ollie Green Heath b. 10 Nov 1875 Hill Co TX d. 8 May 1954 Kern Co. CA. married ca 1896/7 Elnora 'Nora' Cupp b. 2 Nov 1878 TX d. Dec 1967 Bakersfield, Kern Co. CA. They had a total of 13 children. Ollie Green Heath died from being struck by a car when he was crossing a street at age 78. His obituary follows. I'd love to connect with family from this marriage in order to fill in some blanks on their children.

The following article was headline news in the Bakersfield Californian May 8, 1954:
2 Pedestrians Die in 2 Days: 80 Year Old Struck Down While Trying to Cross               Bear Mt. Road. The second pedestrian to be killed by an auto on Kern County               highways in as many days has been listed by the California Highway Patrol as               Ollie Heath, 80, of Rt. 6. Heath was pronounced dead on arrival at Kern General Hospital shortly before 5 a.m. today. He had been struck by a sedan operated by John Hallum, 40, 1501 Bush St., Arvin at 4:05 a.m. Officers Tom Lambert and        R.C. Behringer reported the sedan was westbound on Bear Mt. Road, west of Weed Patch Hwy, when it struck the octogenarian. Heath had been attempting to cross to the north side when the fatality occurred. H.R. Borgsdorf Ambulance        rushed the dying man to the county hospital. The body was later removed to the H.R.
