I was wondering if any Haussli/Heasley family historians had researched the ancestry of Joachim Haüssli's wife, Elsbeth Ochsner. In "The Little House of Heasley Bulletin," Ruth R. Heasley listed Elsbeth's parents as Heinrich Oshsner and Ana Nusli. I have a copy of Elsbeth's baptismal record and I can confirm that she was christened on 9 January 1706/7 in Winterberg, Kt. Zürich, Switzerland. It is also clear that Elsbeth Ochsner had an anut, or possibly a grandmother, named Elsbeth Nüssli, who appears on the record as a sponsor. If anyone has any information on the ancestry of either Heinrich Oshsner or Ana Nusli, I would appreciate it if they would post the data.
