However, I have researched Joachim Heisley of Whitehall Township, Northampton Co., PA and Rowan Co., NC. His will was filed in 1778 in Rowan Co., NC by his son Jacob, who I presume is the same man as your Jacob Helsley. Joachim Heisley's son, Jacob, was christened February 1733/4 in Brutten Parish, Winterberg, Switzerland according to "The Little House of Heasley" by Ruth R. Heasley.
