Hearsts of SC who went through Missouri

There are several male Hearsts from the John Hearst, Sr., of SC family who sojourned in Missouri for a generation or so including the one who was the ancestor of the Hearsts of Hearst Communications wealth.

You need first to decide if your ancestress spelled her name the common way as Hurst or as Hearst which is much less common. If possibly or probably Hearst then use the data you have to find the couple before or after marriage in a US Census.

I myself have no research in this state. The names seem to be from dime (or is it nickel novels of the era rather than family names) or from the Breeden family although Elizabeth is a standard SC Hearst name, as is Isabelle or Isabella (Bella).
