Does your Robert C. Hearin 1778 have a brother Charles? Our names are close and I am wondering if there is a connection? We have Charles name as Herron b. Circa 1788 in ? SC and he married Margaret C. b. circa 1788 ?(I thought it might be Calhoun, but now I wonder if it could be Cornelison). The name Calhoun has been carried down a couple of generations. Children; 1. Cornelius Calhoun Herron b. circa 1810 2. John H. Herron b. circa 1814 m. Sara May or Mae Macbeth b. bef. 1822 3. William R. Herron b.22/Sep/1817.
John H. Herron Children; William P., John Calhoun, Margaret E.R. Herron, Ella Herron Lang, Sarah B. Herron Marshall.
John Calhoun Herron b. 1843 m Nancy L. Mundell and their first son Charles Calhoun named his first son Conrad L. Herron.
Most of this is in Charleston, SC this all took place.
I also have a J.Macbeth b. circa 1804 d.aft. 1860 Charleston, SC that married a ___Roberts b. 1800 daughter of Eliza S. and Mr. Roberts. Their dauther Sarah May Ann Macbeth m. John H. Herron.
Does this Herron family tie in with your Hearin family or Roberts tie in with yours? If so do you know what happened to Robert C. Hearin father Thank you, Dianne
