I am researching the Herl family that ended up in Ohio. My specific branch went to Huron and Ashtabula counties, but I have lots of info on other branches too. Would love to share! The family started with James (b 1785) and Rose (b 1788/1890 Herl/Hearl of County Antrim, Ireland. They had lots of children who seem to have come to America bit by bit. Lots of descendants. Their children were:
John Alexander, Margaret, James, Mary Ann, Alexander, William, Samuel, Patrick, Rose Ann, Anne, and Elizabeth. I am a descendant of Patrick.
