I don't have any info on Sarah Amanda other than b. abt 1836 in Lumpkin Co. GA (parts of Lumpkin Co. became Dawson) and died c.1880-1890 in Dawson Co., marr. Nov. 22, 1867.
There were two John Archibald Heards. My line is J.A. Heard b. 1829,d. 14 July 1912, son of James Elliott, buried at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church; marr.8 Jan 1860 Nancy Ann Hill, (b. 26 Dec 1843, d. 6 Jan 1913, bur. Mt. Vernon)
Nancy was the daughter of David Hill and Melia Potts.
The other John Archibald Heard, son of Jefferson Passon Heard was born 11 Dec 1859, d. 13 Jan 1902; marr. Sarah Elizabeth (Sallie) Harrison (b. 23 July 1869, d. 7 Sept. 1956, bur. at Coal Mtn. Cemetery. .. Pat
