Hello - I am researching my Heard line and have run into alot of confusion with my GGG-grandmother, Elizabeth Betsy Heard, b. Dec 15, 1790 in GA, married Royal Jennings on March 1, 1810 in Morgan County, and died Oct 19, 1870 in Chattooga, GA. I can't seem to find any definitive proof of her lineage. I have been told her parents were Stephen Heard, from Stephen Heard and Mary Faulkner, and Caroline Wilkinson, from John Wilkinson and Ann Douglas.
