This looks like a message to myself, but the author and addressee are two separate Ken Healys, who have never met!
We do not know if the following information refers to the John Healy you were asking about, but it seems likely.
Capt. John Jerome Healy with Edgar Wilson operated the Healy & Wilson Trading Postat Dyea near St Michael- Haines Mission, Alaska May 24, 1887.
Healy - onetime boss of a Whiskey Fort at Montana-Canadian border, also sheriff of Couteau County.
Trading Post used a schooner"Charlie" to bring goods in. Near entrance to Chilkoot Pass Mrs. Healy, known throughout the north as "the miners & travellers friend". Healy & associates always believed the Chilkoot was the gateway o the gold.
