Good Day to All:
I have the Healey/Hurley Family Bible. The following items are located within its pages:
1. Mary Catherine Hurley's Baptismal Certificate (dau. of Daniel Hurley and Nora Purcell)
2. Four separate locks of hair (brunette and blond)
3. Family Record (typed on onion skin paper) of John and Mary Hurley that lists their children and grandchildren. It states the reason why the family came over from Ireland into Bradford County, Penn.
4. Mariage Certificate of John Healy and Ellen Hannon (on a page of the bible) dated 1869.
5. Numerous entries listing the following last names: Healey, Hurley, Lee, Gaffney and Bird.
6. Baptismal Certificate of ?Benard? of Bradford, PA (son of William J. and Mary Healey
7. Letter from Julius A. Leetham (San Marino, Calif) to Mrs. Mary H. Starr (Escondido, Calif)
8. Photo copy of Anne Healey Bird's death certificate as well as a memo from Julius A. Leetham (Judge), dated 05-25-79
9. A telegram to Ms. Williams J. Healey through American Express concerning Mary's operation
10. Thank you note and newspaper clipping of the death of Daniel Hurley (102 years old)
11. Photo copy of Mary Healey Starr's death announcements from newspapers within the Vancouver, Washington Area.
If you are a direct decendant, feel free to contact me anytime if you wish to purchase this Bible back for your family. If you are not a direct decendand with the last name, Healy/Hurley, please do not make an offer. Please note as well, the locks of hair would be great for DNA tests/samples as well.
