Very good work. Thanks to both of you for all the hard work that goes into history in ths way.

I will try to summarize some of it and put it into www.healdfamily.org

My grandmother had a quilt (about 20 x 30") as a wall hanging with the crest as it appears in the drawings that I created.

I know she got it from her husband's family, and did not create it herself. made probably in the late 1800's.

Then Jack Heald of Turlock, CA took it and did his research and found it to be from James, not John. The date of 1641 on it is still a mystery.

Thanks for all the insight and references to this intriging mystery.
