I confirm that we don't appear to connect. My Heney (Heaney)family springs from a military man in the 60th foot regt. While in Ireland he lived in Down, Armagh and Tyrone. He emigrated from Enniskillen, Fermanagh in 1831 to the Ottawa area in Canada. A grandson, William, and another, Thomas, supposedly went to the States later. Good luck.
