Hi Myrl

Thomas Heady Sr is my GGGGG-grandfather which I believe may leave me as the closest living male to Thomas in the Heady family. My Line is:
Thomas Sr.
James
Esquire
Andrew Jackson
Winfield Scott
Dexter
Virgil Ernest
My self
I've been looking at some information placing John Eddy in marsh creek pa (Gettysburg) area around 1737 the heady news letter also places the Headys in the same area. With a Birth. of 1725 for Thomas that would make him 12 at the time. 1790 places Thomas in Uniontown pa.and nelson co ky in 1800 a span of some 75 years. Now History tell us the uniontown area was not safe an or secure until after 1775. What I've been looking at is a connection for Eleanor Jackson married in 1779 in uniontown. Considering that James was about 21 and eleanor 19 did they meet before moving to uniontown or after. The before leaves parent options open. Married after leave us with only one Thomas Sr.. The before has me favoring I thought Dr. David Jackson but the most likley is his brother Paul both sons of Samuel and founder of the 1st Medical school in Pa.. But the if James was on the move he could have meet Eleanor anywhere. I've also heard Eleanor was married before. Any other info out there.
