Hello I am a decendent of Winfield Scott Heady and Martha Elzina Sibbit Heady..they were my great great Grandparents..I would like to share and exchange information and or pictures with anyone that could help me along with my research..
I know that they were setting up home in Tower Hills Shelby County Illinois in 1883...They were the parents of 4 Children 1.Harry Jackson Heady...2. Edith Pearl Heady...3. Dexter Dewitt Heady...4. Anna Elzina Heady (My great grandmother)...Winfield and Martha were married for only 10 short years before Winfield Scott Heady fell to his death hanging the bell in the Methodist Church Bell Tower in Tower Hills Illinois...After this unfortunite death Martha collected her children and moved to Hamilton Co. Illinois where she later married a Mr. Summers..possible first name Charles or Chas...

6. Anna Elzina Heady Erkman ..Hus.. John T. Erkman
7. Frieda Aliene Erkman Gunter ..Hus.. Charles F. Gunter
8. Barbara Jean Gunter Johnson ..Hus.. David L. Johnson
9. Crystal Beth Johnson Cisco ..Hus.. Ronald L. Cisco (ME)
I have only just begun my research but I have found a wealth of information on the internet and at the Historical and Genealogical Society of Shelby Co. Illinois. Anyone with any information I would love to share information with you or do any research at the Historical Society upon requst..I hunger greatly for any news or history I can get about my herritage..
