I an historian in Maplewood, NJ am trying to track down descendents of Sears Robert Headley. He was born Jan. 28, 1832, Essex Co., NJ to Davis Headley and Susan Ball Headley. He married Harriet Dean on Mar. 26, 1856 (children: Ida and Harriet Headley) and Juliaette Dean on Dec. 1, 1881 (children: Martha, Robert Sears, Ella, Mary M., Minnie Dean). He died Nov. 8, 1890 in Essex Co. Sears ran the general store in Clinton, NJ (a.k.a. Middleville and Hilton -- later part of South Orange, Twp.)
His son, Robert Sears Headley, born 1866 moved to Covina, CA and became a citrus orchardist. He died Mar. 13, 1943. Robert Sears'son, Sears was born in 1899. I believe he died Nov. 1985 in West Covina, CA.
