Vicky, My gggg-grandmother was Mary Headley. However, I have not been able to discover who her parents were. My Mary Headley married Moses Wade Abt. 1780. Their daughter Rebecca Bruen Wade was born in 1788, married Aaron Davis in 1814 and moved to Ohio. The Headley, Davis, Wade and Bruen families are all from the Essex County, New Jersey area and many were neighbors at "Connecticut Farms". I'm almost certain that my Mary is part of the Leonard Headley family but haven't been able to discover which of his "sons" or "grandsons" is her father. Mary seems to be a frequently used name for girls in this family. I don't have any information to share on Isaac Headley. The information I have pertains to his brother Samuel II and Joseph.

If you ever discover a Mary Headley who married Moses Wade I would love to hear from you.
