I searched Idress Head Alvord, "Desc of Henry Head ... in Amer" with no results. However, although a fairly good genealogy, yours are not there. She didn't locate everyone. I did some prelim research for you and located your ggfather's father- William Head b TN ca 1824, lv Marion CO AL 1850, p93. Further checking leads me to believe that the family may have liv in Sumner Co TN right on the KY border I am a Professional Genealogist, my speciality is VA-KY.
