Looking for the parents of George DATH Steele. He went by the name DATH. In the 1860 Lawrence Co. Census he was8 years old. I have conflicting names for his father. Names are Edward on the census and the surname is Steel. On the death certificate it has Edgar Steel, on the marriage license 1873, it is Edmund Steele. And the name of his mother is Nancy Lewis. Because Nancy and Edmund were married in 1854 and Dath was born in 1852, I am questioning if he was the child of another mother.......perhaps an Eliza Taber. The Indiana Library Genealogy records has a marriage license for Edmond J. Steele and Eliza Ann Taber dated 1847. Dath died in 1925. He was first married to Tabitha Head who died in 1902 and later married Katie Anderson. I would, also, appreciate any information about Katie Anderson. Help!
