This is my line. It can be traced back to Sussex or Warren County, New Jersey, and includes members in the Revoluntionary War. The name was first spelled Hazelit.
I have records copied from deeds, a will, and the family Bible during our time in N.J. Joseph M. Hazlitt was my ggreat grandfather on my mother's side of the family and some of the Hazlitt's did research in the 1940's.
I have a list of Sarah's and Alexander's children, when they died, and for some the state. I also a list of the births of Robert's children and Joseph Mackey. Another
"Alexander Mason Hazlitt", was my great grandfather.
