William (born 1782) married Ann Wilson. They had 11 children. He may have been a twin as his brother John (my ancestor) was born 15 March 1782. Other siblings were: Hugh (nothing known about him) Hannah who married William Allison and Sarah who married 1. a Mr. Walker 2nd. a Mr John H. Hazlett.
There was a James Hazlett that had property next to Joseph Hazlett who may have been either his brother or father.
John had a son Joseph who married Ann Gettys. Their daughter Rebecca Jane Hazlett married Ralph Radcliffe Holden. They were my Great grand parents.
John's other children were:
Sarah H or A born 1817 married Robert Barton
Josephine born abt. 1820 married Henry A. Watters 2 March 1861 in Iowa.
William Harbison b. 13 Dec. 1821 married Margaret Stevenson
John Clark b. 1828 married Fanny Gore. They became very prominent in the politics of early Nevada. They both died in Dayton, Nev.
Lilly Jane b. abt. 1831 married Samuel Swearinger 15 March 1853.
There is another descendant that has lots of information. He is descended through William Harbison Hazlett. His name is Mark Finger. His E~Mail is:
