After 4 years, I am STILL stuck on Absalom Haseltine and any concrete info on him. I know for a fact that he is indeed the father of My GGrandfather Hollis B. Hazelton, (I have a marriage certificate from Hollis, and his mother's obituary saying she was laid to rest next to her husband Absalom in Springfield, NH), but I can't find any solid proof of anything else about the man.
I have a family bible from the 1860's, and my GGrandmother wrote her date of birth, his date of birth, along with that of their children. She also wrote that they were married in Boston Mass, in 1842, December I believe, with Hollis being born in January 1943 (fast conception?).
If anyone has anything on Absalom and his line, please get in touch. A million thanks!
