Hi Carole,

I have Hazeltons in Chester although I don't see a connection off hand. Mine are Simon B: 1809 (son of Phillip of Manchester) married to Clarissa, They lived on Candia Rd/Lane Rd, near Smith Rd. They had quite a few children, Kesiah, Joseph W, Sylvia A, George H, Clarisa I, Benjamin F and then my connection is John C B: 1847 married to Celestia. It was about the same time period.

I happen to live in the next town from Chester, NH and if you need pictures of anything taken or a cemetery look up don't hestitate to ask. I also have a copy of a map I just got last week from the town Assessment office. It's for 1857 and has all the house lots and names on it for everyone in town. It doesn't have street names but sometimes I can figure them out. It has a J Haselton, E Haselton and an A Haselton all fairly close to each other. Plus a Wm Haselton, another S haselton, a P Haselton, M Haselton, Mrs Haselton, TJ Haselton, and H Haselton,. These are all seperate land holders.

Also I know a link where you can search Benjamin's Chase's, History of Old Chester online if that helps you at all. It is www.digitalbookindex.org. His descendants (I believe)did other books too.

Chester is beautiful, and is still country. Are you from around here? I really don't mind looking for stuff. I have some of my own to still do too and if I'm searching for Haseltons I could just as easy write down yours. I'll be going to the Concord Library soon too, they have all the vitals and I'll be in the Haseltine drawer...anyway. Let me know.
