I cannot figure out a connection to your Richard Hayworth at this time but I can tell you that the web states Stephanus Hayworth and Rachel Beeson married and had a Richard or Richardson Hayworth but they also had a Micajah Hayworth who married Mary McCurty they had Jeremiah and a Micajah Jr. Jeremiah in his first marriage had Geroge, sally, Barnabas,Thomas, Jane ,Susan, Jeremiah Jr.,& Samuel
back to Micajah Jr.who married Milly Hitcock and they had Solomon who married Barnabas's sister Jane. The family names are very repetitive. In Parke county Indiana --Micajah SR. is living. Born 1771 NC. If I remember Stephanus's father would be George but I might be mistaken.
Barnabus married a Lydia Wallace in Vigo county indiana October 21, 1836 That might be yours.
My Richard Hayworth was b. 1821 in TN to Thomas Howard and changed his name to Hayworth at the bequest of a relative that lived in Indiana. He had two brothers George and Lee. Thomas Howard probaby is a Haward , Haworth or Hayworth but can't connect him yet. He had two wives and another family which he desserted. He died early and his wife moved to Indiana with her brothers and later remarried a Massey. Hope this information on Stephanus will give you a lead to all the connections you need.
