Capt Nicholas Hayward was born abt 1775 in Bermuda.... at his demise 16 Nov. 1853 his age at his passing is reported as 78 yrs. He married Sarah Unknown, abt 1802, in Bermuda. We determined her birty date as abt.1779 from her age at her passing on the 7th Oct. 1858.... 79 yrs. Bda.Index 12 Oct. 1858, page 584. ie "Mrs Sarah Hayward, widow of Nicholas Hayward, aged 79, died in Tucher's Town on Oct &, leaving 6 children, 23 grandchildren"
The passing of Nicholas is reported as: 29 Nov. 1853.... "Nichlas Hayward, aged 78, died in Tucker's Town on Nov.16, leaving a widow and 6 children."
