He was born in Hackney circa 1844. He was knighted whilst one of the London sherrifs in 1917. He died in 1926 and was survived by five children:-George,Florence,Ethel,Beatrice and Constance. Constance was the youngest,born in 1895. She was my mother. I have correspondence between him and the Mansfield family concerning the Haysoms of Ringwood. John Jackson.
