Janet,
Mary Knight is a younger sister to my gggrandfather James J. Knight. I found Henry and Mary Hayslip living in Jefferson Co. Ga, in the 1870 census. They were living next door to her father and mother, Daniel B. and Rhoda Arrington Knight. From what another family researcher sent me, the Knight clan moved to TX in 1872. I will share info.
