Yes, indeed, Mary Louise Hayse Carden was the dau. of John Franklin Hayse b. 27 Oct 1889 Boonsville, Wise Co., TX son of Benjamin N. Hayse and Melissa Jane Gilley. Melissa Jane Gilley b. 6 Sep 1863 Wise Co.,TX m. 21 Dec 1884 Wise Co., TX and d. 7 Sept 1891 bur. Gilley Family Cem., Wise Co., TX
was the dau. of John B. Gilley and Mary Adline Davis Gilley. Benjamin N. Hayse was b. Aug 1861 Ark. and d. 1 Dec 1902 Wise Co., TX. He and Melissa had Mary Frances m. Wm. McDuffey and James Henry m. Eula Leonard. After Melissa d. Benj. m. Nora Price and 3 daughter.
