Looking for information on, and parents of Richard D. Hays who was born 22 Nov 1783 (Vermont or Canada, probably near the border, as census records of his children mention both places) and died in Monterey (Town of Orange), Schuyler Co., NY 23 Jul 1850. He was married to Lament Sisson. He was possibly the brother of Samuel Hays (who was married to Polly (Mary Hoyer?) and father of Loren, Luman, Samuel, Harriet & Sarah) who lived in Monterey as well.
This is a dead-end I'd love to solve...please help!
