Hays and Hams in Illinois, Pike County

I'm looking for information on my ggrandmother, Sarah
Elizabeth (Lizzie) nee Ham, born about 1854, who married Cicero Hays in
1871, Marion, Mo. Cicero was a brother to Albert and son of Richard Hays and Catharine Bishop. From this union, there were 3 or 4 children, Stella, Jerome, Alfred and Mertie(?). Cicero and the children died of consumption, except for Alfred, my grandfather and Lizzie remarried D. Mathew Boulware in about 1885, also in Marion, Mo. They later moved to Liberal, Mo. and then to Bourbon County, Kansas.
Lizzie was buried in the West Liberty cemetery, Bourbon County, Kansas. I am interested in info about her parents, they were from Kentucky and North or South Carolina.

Thanks for any help,

Ruth Dabbs
