Hi Mark,Are you by chance related to the Hays Family in some way?I live in San Antonio and still have an aunt that lives there in Pflugerville and one out in North Austin.Aunt Ethel is 91 years old and still as sharp as a tack, but she does tend to forget about her greats and grandparents. If by chance you go to the State Library sometimes, if you don't mind check and see if you can find any information on a David Hays as to when he died, etc.I have the death certificate for John Hays who died in 1930, but not his wife Addie Humphreys Hays who died in 1934.Also, if you like and are interested in the Hays line, contact me at my e-mail address (below) and we can exchange info.(e-mail is: [email protected])I was always told that John Hays came from Georgia right on the Tennessee line (which would be in and around Walker County).I found a David Hays wife Susanna Kendall Hays in Walker County and children were listed with Washington Hays in 1846, but John Hays was not listed.Somewhere I have lost track of where he comes from.Anything you have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Hilda Scott
