The move from Johnson Co. Missouri was in 1889 rather than 1898.They and several other families (Reavis and Pettis are two I recall) rented an entire train for the move.My older brother has actually viewed the gravestone in Prescott for J.F. Hays.We are descended through J.F. Hays' son John Wallace Hays.I have more if you'd like.
