What happened to Devon brothers John Langdon Haynes born 1808 & Thomas Haynes b 1814?
They married Bate sisters Margery & Jane Gill but do not appear on census with them after 1851.
Both wives are described as "mar" on 1861 census.
Margery is "wid" 1871 Jane died 1870.
Did the brothers travel overseas and fail to return?
Yheir wives & families were living in St Marychurch Torquayin 1861
Any information on the fate of these two will be most welcome.
