From looking at past inquiries I saw that you suspected that Sara Haymaker was an American Indian.
I have been doing some family research for a friend, Bill Snell, who is descended from Sara and her 2nd husband Henry Snell. He has heard the same family anecdote, but thought Haymaker was her Native American name. This seems not to be the case, however, he has a family photo taken around 1908 that shows an older woman who appears to be a native american, but is not identified. I've seen the photo, but in my opinion she does not appear to be 80.
Have you found anything to prove that Sara was a Native American
