Various versions have been found here including Hamaker, Hammaker, Hamacher, Hammacher, Haymaker, Haymacher, etc. The descendants of Johann Adam Hamacher generally used Hamaker or Hammaker while the descendants of Johann Huberich Hamacher used the Haymaker version many times as well as the Hamaker and Hammaker. dave Followups: Re: Unkn.
